In order to help understand how DNA structures and functions determine traits we composed a double helix.

- A stick, to hold up the structure
- Two color pencils, to symbolize replication
- The colored pieces represent the four nitrogen bases, Adenine , Thymine, Guanine, and Cytosine
- The brow paper represents the Phosphate
- The white pieces represent the sugar, Deoxyribose
